Richardson Services for Monsignor Daniel S. Richardson, 84, one of Tennessee's most prominent Catholic priests who had served in communities across the state, will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Cathedral of the Incarnation, 2001 West End Ave.

Bishop Edward U. Kmiec will preside. Monsignor Richardson, better known as "Father Dan," died Tuesday morning at his home here, 604 Timber Lane, after a long i illness. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at the Cathedral, with the rosary recited at 4 p.m.

A second visitation will be 7-8 p.m., with a vigil service at 8. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home is in charge of services. He served as pastor or assistant pastor at numerous Catholic churches across Tennessee. His last pastorate was at Christ 1 the King in Nashville.

He retired in 1987, but continued to say Mass and to assist the Catholic Church in many other ways. A native of Nashville, Monsignor Richardson was the son of Lloyd O. and and Edna Shea Richardson. Monsignor Richardson was a graduate of Father J.C. (Jelly) Anderson, 86, East Hull Avenue, Gainesboro, retired from Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative, Gainesboro, and Anderson Funeral Home, died yesterday at home of cancer.

In 1945, he became pastor of Assumption North Nashville and director of the Diocesan of Catholic Women. In 1970 he was named an Honorary Prelate Paul IV, and became Episcopal Vicar for the Deanery in 1976. For many years he served lain for the Knights of Columbus.
