I recently discovered a new local skin care line called Beauty Codes, by Kristy Livingston. I’ve been using her New Beginnings Daily Cleanser as well as Shed the Day Cleansing Oil and Makeup Remover. I really enjoy how they both products make my skin feel.

The best and most unique part of her skin care line is that each bottle has a QR code on the label, linking you to a guided meditation that enhances your skin care ritual.

I was curious about her serum and she sent me Light Worker Vitamin C Serum to try out. Light Worker ($185) is a vitamin C and anti-aging serum that helps illuminate the skin and reveals its radiance. This formula helps to reduce wrinkles, calms redness and boost collagen for a balanced youthful glow.

How to Use: Kristy recommends applying 4-6 drops onto your fingertips, allowing the warmth of your hands to activate the serum. Gently smooth it over your face, allow the serum to absorb fully. For optimal results, use in the morning before moisturizer.

So, if you’re looking for ways to up level your skin care routine, you can’t go wrong with serum.

Here are a few other serums to consider:

Beauty Codes Needle Free Collagen Boosting Serum, $149

The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solutio 12%, $19.60

SkinCeuticals E C Ferulic, $208
